Notes: Mercedes and the other dog in the home where she was living fought, so her original owner surrendered her to the shelter. She was then adopted for a few days along with another dog from our shelter and the two of them seemed a match made in heaven dispelling the notion that Mercedes could not live with another dog peaceably. Unfortunately, the owner's health was simply not ideal for having two rambunctious dogs and he decided to keep only one and brought Mercedes back for another chance at a better home. Mercedes is a playful, loving dog who is comfortable with all people and housebroken.
