Notes: Henney, a recent return, continues to suffer from bad karma. Originally brought to the shelter as an abused and neglected young dog, he spent a long time in a kennel showing frustration and fear. Finally, four months ago, he was adopted by a young man, whose mother had to formally adopt the dog, because he was not yet 21. When a follow-up call was made to check on the dog, it was discovered that the mother had given poor Henney away and that the new owners were unable to keep him because their landlord said no. All these gyrations and poor Henney has been in transient homes, never knowing a real loving family or owner. Henney has put on weight and looks great. He still has that little corkscrew tail and he seems much calmer and has been very loving despite his misfortunes.
