Notes: This photo of Drifter was taken when he was still a court case, having been abandoned with his companion Valentino. Drifter's coat was thin, flea-bitten and the young dog as underweight as well. Today this wonderfully engaging shepherd has a thick, lustrous coat and is as handsome as own show-ring dog. He has truly flourished with just a modicum of care. Drifter has magnetic eyes and flashes a smile of gleaming white teeth with little prodding.
