Notes: So few smoky gray dogs turn up at the shelter that when one does appear, it is always a head-turner. Such is the case with Boots, with the luscious gray coat and golden eyes that are so often seen in Weimeraners. Another tell-tale sign of the sporting dog in her is that she "points" when she sees something of particular interest. Also like the "gray ghosts", Boots is a little more wary and less of a lap-flopper than most of the Pit bulls we see at the shelter. Once she feels comfortable, she is more accepting of the kind of petting that this beautiful dog inspires. She is a newcomer and a stray, so come in and toss her a treat so that she comes to associate people with nothing but the good stuff.
